33 Scientists Say That Octopuses Are Aliens From Space That Arrived To Earth On Icy Bodies

In the animal kingdom, octopuses are among the most unique creatures. A new study suggests that octopuses are so unique that they might come from outer space.

Why Do 33 Scientists Think That Octopuses Are Aliens?

The theory of octopuses being extraterrestrial beings was introduced by a group of 33 scientists from around the world. Citing the intelligence of the octopus, the scientists believe that the animal was one of many life-forms to come from alien material in outer space.

More Evidence of Drilling Sabotage Found on Space Station

It was fun poling holes in the recent story about a tiny hole poked in the International Space Station which an astronaut held his finger over until Russian cosmonauts patched it with a modern version of chewing gum and duct tape. Funny stuff … until it was revealed that the hole was not the result of a micrometeorite impact but an accidental drill hole made by a Soyuz contractor who himself had patched it up so the capsule could pass inspection. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the end of it. Further inspections by the crew have found evidence of more mysterious drill dents and unexplained scratches … this time on the outside. Don’t shout “Aliens!” … yet.

“Traces of drilling have been found not only inside the spacecraft’s living compartment, but also on the screen of the anti-meteorite shield that covers the spacecraft from the outside and is installed 15 millimeters away from the pressure hull.”

That chilling revelation was given to the TASS news agency by “a rocket and space industry source.” Prior to plugging the two-millimeter hole discovered after pressure began to drop in the ISS on August 30th, cosmonauts conducted an extensive examination of the area surround it both inside and out. Photo and video images taken of the outer hull using an endoscope (that cheer you just heard was from gastroenterologists) showed more evidence of non-reported-or-repaired drilling.

“During the analysis of those images, traces of drilling were found on the anti-meteorite shield … the top of the drill came through the pressure hull and hit the non-gastight outer shell.”

With that discovery, the finger-pointing began. The non-gastight anti-meteorite outer shell is the last piece installed before the spacecraft is taken to the final assembly workshop. Another anonymous source (see, the Russians use them too) gives this evidence:

“When Soyuz MS-09 has just arrived to the final assembly workshop, it was photographed in details. No hole and no signs of drilling… were found. The spacecraft was drilled later, when it was fully assembled.”

Photographs of the anti-meteorite shield taken when it arrived also showed no damage. That implies the drilling scratches and dents were made at the very end of the assembly cycle or during the 90-checkout. Hmm. How did none of this get caught during the entire 90-day inspection? Have they not heard of fine-toothed combs?

The sources don’t believe the damage occurred while the Soyuz was moved to the Baikonur space center in Kazakhstan or when it was connected to the rocket and placed on the launch pad.

This additional information seems to have been released AFTER a commission consisting of specialists from Roscosmos, the Energia Rocket and Space Corporation and the Central Research Institute of Machine-Building completed their investigation and Roscosmos director general Dmitry Rogozin said the damaged materials would be studied “for as long as it takes” but “within reasonable limits.”

Within reasonable limits? This is the only vehicle in use for transporting crew member to and from the ISS. Would he feel the same way if it was a NASA-made capsule … or Musk-made? How quickly would they bring up the pot-smoking? NASA chief Jim Bridenstine contacted his Russian counterpart and offered assistance to continue the investigation, identify all of the parties involved in this serious problem and insure that the crew can return safely.

It’s not aliens. However, if it’s someone paying the contractor to sabotage the ship or the ISS, who might that be? And why?

Alien-Hunting AI Detects Mysterious Deep Space Radio Signals

Ah, artificial intelligence. Is there anything it can’t do? Aside from learning to feel human emotions and generally haunting the nightmares and waking thoughts of any rational forward-looking person, artificial intelligence has now officially joined the search for aliens. Already, this use of AI is generating results, as a new set of mysterious deep space radio bursts was just detected by a revolutionary new machine learning algorithm, better known as an “intelligent computer program soon to enslave humanity.” Is there anything at which humans are better than machines machines anymore?

Maybe feeling sorry for ourselves as we gawk in awe and horror at the endless wisdom of our future overlords. However the AI uprising will end, this news is at least a bit of hope that we might at least discover alien life before being turned into human batteries. Scientists with Breakthrough Listen have used a powerful new machine learning algorithm (AI) to analyze a data set made in 2017 using the Green Bank Telescope in West Virginia. While researchers had previously felt like all of the important discoveries had already been gleaned from this data, UC Berkeley PhD student Gerry Zhang coaxed this AI network into discovering 72 new radio bursts which were originally not detected in the analysis of this Green Bank Telescope data.

The first fast radio burst was discovered in 2007. Since then, dozens of sources have been located - but not identified.

The first fast radio burst FRB) was discovered in 2007. Since then, dozens of other FRB sources have been located – but not always identified.

This discovery already shows that artificial intelligence could revolutionize the search for alien life. Who knows – overlooked proof may already exist in previously analyzed data. “Not all discoveries come from new observations,” says Pete Worden, executive director of the Breakthrough Listen and other Breakthrough Initiatives, “In this case, it was smart, original thinking applied to an existing dataset. It has advanced our knowledge of one of the most tantalizing mysteries in astronomy.”

The mystery Worden refers to is FRB 121102, one of the most active sources of unexplained fast radio bursts. While many astronomers believes these bursts to be caused by natural sources, others still hold out hope that they may be alien in nature. FRB 121102, a source of radio waves some 3 billion light-years away in the constellation Auriga, has been observed emitting bright pulses of radio emission since 2016. Could this be a distant civilization attempting to make first contact, or is it just some dumb dying neutron star like always? An incredibly intelligent computer will likely solve that question soon – just before it sends the Terminators to do their thing.

Mysterious Hole in Space Station May Have Been Sabotage

It was less than a week ago when the world learned that NASA instruments detected a leak in the space station that was eventually blamed on a tiny meteorite that penetrated the hull of the Soyuz spacecraft docked there and was fixed, after an astronaut plugged it with his finger, with a patch and some glue. That interesting and funny story has turned mysterious and sinister as new reports suggest the hole was not made by a meteorite penetrating from the outside … it may have been made intentionally by someone drilling from the inside. Sabotage?

“We are considering all the theories. The one about a meteorite impact has been rejected because the spaceship’s hull was evidently impacted from inside. However it is too early to say definitely what happened. But, it seems to be done by a faltering hand… it is a technological error by a specialist. It was done by a human hand – there are traces of a drill sliding along the surface. We don’t reject any theories.”

Dmitry Rogozin, CEO of Russia’s state space corporation Roscosmos, made that statement after an anonymous source within the Russian space program told the news agency RIA Novosti that “the appearance of a hole” was due to “negligence” – possibly by an employee of Energia, the maker of the Sooyuz capsule, who may have accidentally punctured the hull and secretly sealed it with glue so that it passed pressurization tests before launch. Whoa!

And that’s not the strangest suggestion. Former cosmonaut Maxim Surayev, now a politician, said it’s possible a homesick ISS crew member could have drilled the hole in order to cause a problem that would force the crew to be sent home early.

“We’re all human, and anyone might want to go home, but this method is really low. If a cosmonaut pulled this strange stunt—and that can’t ruled out— it’s really bad.”

Needless to say, the Russians aren’t happy about this and Rogozin is furious.

“It is a matter of honor for Energia Rocket and Space Corporation to find the one responsible for that, to find out whether it was an accidental defect or a deliberate spoilage and where it was done — either on Earth or in space.”

The good news is, even though this means the mysterious hole in the Soyuz spacecraft has now been patched twice – once on Earth and once in space – it’s still safe to fly because the section with the hole is destroyed during reentry.

The bad news is … this is either a cover-up of an accident or a deliberate act of sabotage to what is currently the only spacecraft being used to transport crew members to and from the ISS. That’s somewhat good news for Elon Musk and SpaceX, although his newly named crew members won’t be ready until at least late 2019. So the ISS crews must still depend on the Russian space program and Soyuz, with what may be shoddy contractors. And it’s still a possibility that the ISS has a cosmonaut with a problem.

Unless it’s an America astronaut …

Once again, science fiction plots become space travel realities.

Beyond time and space. NAZI UFO 1935-1945, Secret Nazi Experiments.

For decades, a rich mythology has developed around the claim that Nazi Germany’s engineers secretly developed one or more super-sophisticated saucer-shaped aircraft and unmanned disc-like missiles.

Tat this technology was appropriated by the US or the Soviet Union in the post-war period. The names Schriever, Miethe, Habermohl, Belluzzo are associated with some of these stories, and the locations of the secret plants where these craft were allegedly built range from Prague to Stettin to shadowy underground factories in the legendary “Nazi southern redoubt.”

Meteorite Hits International Space Station and Creates Leak

Houston, we have a different problem.

It’s the stuff of thriller movie plots and space travel nightmares. A meteorite crashed into the International Space Station and pressure started dropping on the Russian side as oxygen began leaking out of the hole. A good screenwriter could spin this opening scene into 90 minutes of heart-thumping action, but NASA decided to let the crew continue to sleep and deal with it in the morning. Does NASA Need better technicians or better screenwriters?

“As flight controllers monitored their data, the decision was made to allow the Expedition 56 crew to sleep since they were in no danger. When the crew was awakened at its normal hour Thursday morning, flight controllers at Mission Control in Houston and at the Russian Mission Control Center outside Moscow began working procedures to try to determine the location of the leak.”

The current ISS crew consists of station Commander Drew Feustel, Flight Engineers Ricky Arnold and Serena Auñón-Chancellor of NASA, Alexander Gerst of the European Space Agency and Oleg Artemyev and Sergey Prokopyev of the Russian space agency Roscosmos. Upon awakening (to the music of “Fixing a Hole” by the Beatles?), NASA sent them all over to the Russian side to look for the leak. Really!

Soyuz spacecraft

And? They found it! The hole was no more than two millimeters (.078 inches) in diameter and located not on the ISS itself but in the Soyuz spacecraft currently docked to it. That spaceship has been attached there since June, so it’s considered part of the station. The hole appeared to have been caused by a micrometeorite impact and was apparently found by ESA astronaut Gerst who reportedly … get ready for this … put his finger over the hole! The little Dutch boy with his finger in the dike would be so proud.

It gets better. The space news website NASASpaceFlight.com was monitoring communications between ground support and the crew gave these updates on the initial repairs:

“Russian ground controllers say they are now into a deep dive evaluation of the hole. Sergey Prokopyev is still trying to hunt down a repair kit. They have taped the hole as a band aid. Plan is to clean up the area and add more permanent patches.”

Tape! Patches! And then …

“Now told to use a toothpick on the hole (likely to aid photography and scale). Then will apply sealant and cover it with a patch. General ISS pressure is holding stable now.”

Toothpicks! Glue!

This is no space thriller movie … this is a sitcom for aliens watching Earthlings in their feeble attempts at space travel.

We’re glad the crew is safe and the hole is repaired. This shows how risky space travel is and how dangerous even a tiny meteorite or piece of debris can be. A permanent fix will most likely have to be made from the outside on a spacewalk.

NASA has probably already put in orders to ship up some Bondo, sandpaper and paint.

In 1974, a signal to space was sent and response was received and silenced in 2001

In 1974 a group of scientists sent a signal to space containing the location of the Earth in the solar system, our DNA structure and other relevant details. Well, in 2001, we received an enigmatic response that has gone unnoticed by the general public.

In an effort to discover intelligent extraterrestrial life, Carl Sagan sent a signal to space,a transmission known as the ‘Arecibo’ message via radio waves. The message addressed to extraterrestrial intelligent beings was the most powerful radio transmission ever transmitted to space by humanity.

Germany Has No Plans to Deal With Space Alien Attack

The movie “Independence Day” highlighted the importance of countries have a plan for dealing with the arrival of alien spacecrafts. While the talk of a “Space Force” in the U.S. indicates that we’re at least talking about it (and likely have something already in place behind the scenes), what about other countries? While the Swiss are always ready with their knives, what about their neighbors in Germany? Germans may be getting a little nervous after a question asked of a lawmaker about their country’s space alien preparedness program generated the wrong answer.

“Not the German Federal Government. It confirms in writing (pdf document) that on the part of the Federal Government and its subordinate authorities there are no plans or protocols for a possible first contact with extraterrestrial life, because they “on the territory of the Federal Republic of Germany according to current scientific knowledge for extreme unlikely holds “.”

Uh-oh.

Dieter Janecek, Green Party leader and a member of the German Parliament since 2013, revealed that answer to his questions to the government about its plans for close encounters of any kind with an alien species.

“Aliens so far obviously have no role in international diplomacy.”

Of course, the government is referring to “space” aliens and points out that climate change and other problems on Earth deserve more of its and other world organizations’ attention. But … no plans at all in this era when some polls indicate that half of all Americans and Western Europeans believe Earth has already been visited by alien species?

Perhaps this is a distraction. After all, Germany has a rich history of stories of Nazi flying saucers, secret UFO bases, foo fighters, rocketry development and the rumors that all of these technologies came from reverse-engineering crashed alien spaceships.

Does Germany already have a Space Force? Is the U.S. playing catch up? Or is this one of those areas where there is secret cooperation behind the scenes to avoid international panic over a possible alien encounter – friendly or worse than any Independence Day sequel?

When will fictional alien encounters become reality? The Little Prince, one of the most famous fictional alien contacts, has just been translated into Klingon. For whom?

US to Launch Space Force Military Branch in 2020, VP Mike Pence Says

Today (Aug. 9), Vice President Mike Pence unveiled a detailed plan for the military Space Force proposed by President Donald Trump in a speech at the Pentagon. If Congress agrees to establish it, the Space Force will be the sixth branch of the U.S. military.

The Department of Defense is expected to release a report later today “outlining the first stages of our administration’s plan to implement the president’s guidance and turn his vision into a reality,” Pence said.

Astronaut Reveals Possible Alien Encounter on Space Shuttle

“… I thought I saw something organic/ alien like floating out of the payload bay. Translucent. Curved. Organic looking.”

That would make a great opening line for a sci-fi movie, but it’s actually a quote from a retired Space Shuttle astronaut responding to a question on Twitter asking about the existence of intelligent alien life in the solar system. Did this astronaut just let an extraterrestrial cat (an organic looking translucent one) out of the bag?

“@AstroKomrade and I called the ground to ask what it could be and it was ice that had broken off of the Freon hoses.”

Retired astronaut and possible alien spotter Leland Melvin

The retired astronaut doing this interesting tweeting is Leland Melvin (@Astro_Flow), a veteran of two space shuttle missions, the second of which being the one where he saw something strange floating out of the payload bay. Melvin flew on the Space Shuttle Atlantis as a mission specialist on STS-122 (February 7 – February 20, 2008) and as a mission specialist 1 on STS-129 (November 16 – November 27, 2009). Also on STS-129 was @AstroKomrade, known in pre-Twitter days as astronaut Randy Bresnik. This mission to the International Space Station was one of the last space shuttle missions, but nothing out of the ordinary was listed in the official records of the mission nor the three spacewalks.

Leland Melvin is one of the more interesting astronauts ever to pass through the space program. After getting a degree in Chemistry from the University of Richmond, where he attended on a football scholarship (and still holds at least one receiving record), Melvin was drafted by the NFL Detroit Lions but released due to an injury, his same fate with the Dallas Cowboys. After trying out with the CFL Toronto Argonauts, he retired and moved from catching passes to catching aliens.

Leland Melvin and his dogs

Did Leland Melvin actually see an alien life form or does he believe it was just ice? He’s one of the more creative and diverse astronauts, having appeared as a guest judge on Top Chef, a dog owner on The Dog Whisperer and the host of two seasons of Child Genius. He also helped found Spaceship Earth Grants, a program to make space more accessible to non-astronauts. Leland Melvin sounds like someone who loves science and space and wants others to do the same. Does jock/scientist/creative-type really think he saw an alien and NASA told him it was ice just to distract him?

“Hmmm. Don’t think so but you never know.”

That was Melvin’s answer to a Twitter question from Scott C. Waring of UFO Sightings Daily, who has made it one of his many missions to ask NASA about the existence of other life forms. Unfortunately, while Melvin gave Waring an intriguing answer, he provided no pictures or other evidence to back it up. Was he told not to? If that’s the case, why bother answering at all? Will Randy Bresnik back him up?

With his dedication to space and opening it up to the masses, perhaps Leland Melvin is leaking just enough about what he saw to pique interest. Has he?
